Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
For one weekend every October, the quiet single-track roads of Mull become a rally course. The Mull Rally has run on the island's closed roads every year since 1990, and the stages wind past Calgary Bay, along the shore at Gribun and over the hill by Mishnish Lochs, much of it at night with headlights racing through the dark. It's a big weekend for the island, so if you're visiting, check which roads are closed and when before you set off, and expect some places to change their hours. The Mull Rally runs from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October, with stages on the Friday and Saturday evenings and overnight.
