Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Golspie Golf Club, on the Sutherland coast, is celebrating the man who shaped its course. James Braid, five times Open champion and one of the great course designers, finished his work at Golspie in 1926, and the James Braid Centenary Festival of Golf marks the hundred years with four days of friendly golf. It starts with a members-and-locals against visitors challenge, then a Texas scramble, a Stableford day that ends in a centenary dinner and ceilidh, and a singles finale. One festival ticket covers all four days, and ticket holders get a special rate at Brora Golf Club just up the coast. Bookings are through Golspie Golf Club directly.
