An Fenten
Mull and Cornwall have more in common than you might think, and An Fenten sets out to show it.
For a Halloween night out with a difference, you can dance your way up Byres Road in Glasgow. Ya Dancer Crew hand everyone a wireless light-up headset playing a Halloween playlist, and the whole group moves up the street in fancy dress. There's a spooky warm-up at University Avenue, a soul train along Byres Road, a sing-along outside Hillhead Subway, a few dance moves in the Vinicombe Street piazza, and a last dance in Ashton Lane. It takes place on Friday 30 October at 7.30pm, and tickets cost from £6 to £10. Come in costume and bring plenty of energy.

The Citizens Theatre has stood in the Gorbals since 1878, and after a long rebuild you can now go behind the scenes on one of its heritage tours.

Every October the pines of Faskally Wood, a mile or so out of Pitlochry, are lit and scored for a month, and people walk through them after dark.
