Every October the Botanic Gardens in the West End go dark and spooky for GlasGLOW, and this year the theme is a Zombie Zoo. It's an hour-long walk after dark through the gardens, lit up and full of sound, with decontamination tunnels, observation labs and live feeding demonstrations along the way. At the end there's a pumpkin patch, a food village and marshmallows to roast. It runs every evening from 16 October to 1 November from 5pm, with timed tickets from around £26 for an adult and £14 for a child, sold online. Wrap up warm.
