Fort William Mountain Festival 2027

Fort William sits at the foot of Ben Nevis, and every February it holds a Mountain Festival. For four days there are films from the year's expeditions, talks from climbers, runners and writers, and workshops on everything from winter skills to photography, then guided walks and climbs out in the Nevis Range and Glen Coe.

The 2027 festival runs from 11 to 14 February. Pack for real winter weather, as snow often reaches the road, and enjoy hearing from people who have just come down off the hill.
