Some of the UK's most celebrated chefs are heading north this November, and you don't need a trip to London to taste their cooking.

Cinderella is the Citizens Theatre's Christmas show this year. Stuart Paterson's version of the fairy tale is full of magic and mischief, a theatrical Christmas show for families rather than a panto. It's staged in the Citz's restored Victorian theatre in the Gorbals, directed by Joanna Bowman, and it's best for ages six and up. It runs from 28 November to 31 December, with tickets from £19.50 and children's tickets from £10. Book through the theatre's website, and arrive early to have a look round the building.
