Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Blairgowrie's book festival is one of those small, friendly weekends where you can hear a favourite author and still be home for tea. BOOKMARK returns to Blairgowrie Community Campus on 10 and 11 October. On Saturday you can hear Sue Lawrence, Jenny Colgan and Bendor Grosvenor, and on Sunday Don Paterson, Alex Gray and Lin Anderson, and Sir Tom Devine in conversation with Magnus Linklater. Tickets are sold for single events, a day or the whole weekend through Perthshire Box Office.
