Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Uig Community Hall on Skye holds the first BayFest on Saturday 26 September, a free day of music and words. It grew out of the North End Jam sessions that started last year, and the hall trustees hope it will become a regular date. It brings musicians from all over the island, and a few from further afield, under one roof.
Piper Kiro Brendan starts things off at midday, with shorter sets and open mic to begin with. More experienced acts take over from mid-afternoon, including Findlay Napier, with El Sartel headlining. Tickets are free, but space is limited to what the hall holds, and the music runs until about 10pm.
