Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Every October the Old Course, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns Golf Links fill up for one of the friendliest weeks in golf. At the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, tour professionals play alongside amateur partners, often actors, singers and sporting legends, so you can stand by a tee and watch a Ryder Cup player and a film star hit off one after the other. Each pair plays a round on all three links from Thursday to Saturday, and the leaders go back to the Old Course for the final round on Sunday. This year is the 25th, and the Scottish golfer Bob MacIntyre is defending his title. Entry is free from Thursday to Saturday with no ticket needed; Sunday at St Andrews is by ticket only, bought in advance, with concessions free. At Carnoustie, the station is a ten-minute walk from the course.
