Lauriston Castle, in its gardens on Cramond Road South in Edinburgh, has a special afternoon on Sunday 29 November to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. There are two ways to see it. A relaxed costumed tour takes you round the house at your own pace, with seats in all the main rooms upstairs, though there are steps. Or you can settle into the old Maids' Hall, which has wheelchair access, and watch a digital tour of the castle. It runs from 1pm to 2pm, it's free, and you book by phoning 0131 336 2060. Meet in the courtyard, through the gate past Mimi's café.
