The 2026 Commonwealth Games were held from 23 July to 2 August 2026, with 10 sports across four venues within an eight-mile corridor in Glasgow. About 3,000 athletes from up to 74 nations and territories were expected to compete. The programme included 47 para-sport medal events across six of those sports, the largest para-sport programme in Commonwealth Games history.
