Argyll has some lovely bakeries tucked away. At the top of George Street in Oban, a vegan bakery opens on Fridays and Saturdays, and its bakes go fast. In Tyndrum, on the road north, a café and deli in a converted church with stained glass windows serves good baking to walkers and drivers alike. Arrive early for the best choice.
