Welcome

In the countryside just north of Jedburgh, the Caddy Mann is a family-run restaurant that has earned a loyal following.

From the road it looks modest, but diners praise the food and the friendly, attentive service.

The cooking is generous, with game on the menu, and the menus run from coffee and home baking in the morning to hearty lunches and full dinners. Recent diners have singled out the soups, the pigeon, a soufflé and the Sunday roasts. In fine weather there are tables in the garden under blue parasols.

The Caddy Mann opens for lunch from Thursday to Sunday and for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, and booking ahead is wise. Jedburgh's abbey and Mary Queen of Scots' House are only a few minutes' drive away.
