Strathaven Balloon Festival is scheduled across the weekend of Friday the 22nd to Sunday the 24th August 2025 in Strathaven Park. Balloons will launch early morning and again in the evening, weather permitting, with Saturday and Sunday offering skydives by The Sky Masters team. By day, the site hosts a family funfair, live music, trade stalls and classic vehicle displays. Entry is free, though programmes are sold to help fund the event. Though balloon flights for the public are not available on-site, a raffle offers a chance to win a ride. The festival relies on volunteers and attracts visitors and pilots from across Europe
