Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
If you like watching skilled hands at work, Making Place gives you a good reason to head to Newtonmore this October. The Highland Folk Museum is holding a two-day gathering about heritage, craft and making, with traditional and contemporary craft demonstrations and a programme of talks on both days. The museum is an open-air one, with old Highland buildings to wander between, so there's plenty to see around the demonstrations too. Making Place runs on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October, and the museum is open from 10.30am to 4pm until the season ends on 25 October.
