One for cocktail connoisseurs, this glamorous haunt is in the basement - and the ground floor - of the Edinburgh Grand on St Andrew Square. The upstairs section has high ceilings and a long art deco-inspired bar. Downstairs in the old bank vaults (this was once the Royal Bank of Scotland’s headquarters) it’s dark and decadent, all columns, retro tasselled lamps, and a dramatic backlit bar where the mixologists whip up creative concoctions.
