Kite
Welcome
Kite in Dinnet makes wood-fired pizza, just the thing after a day out in the hills.
It's a new restaurant in the old village post office, at the eastern gateway to the Cairngorms National Park. The building has been a general store and an antiques shop in its time. Now the walls are lined with salvaged timber that still shows its Victorian green paint. The pizzas are Neapolitan, and the long-fermented dough is made on site every day. Save room for the house-made tiramisu. There's a short list of Italian and Scottish drinks, and deli shelves to browse on your way out.
