Amberwave Sauna
Aufguss is the sauna at its most theatrical, and Amberwave brings it to Glasgow's west end.
It's a wood-fired sauna for up to 16 in the SWG3 Community Garden. Native trees, allotments and beehives surround it, with filtered cold plunges alongside. The sauna master is Doro Weber-Passmore, who is certified by the German sauna association. The signature session lasts two hours over five rounds. Essential oils are poured on the stones, and the steam is turned by towel. Book the signature session if you can, and take your time in the garden afterwards.
