Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

Every October the Scottish Storytelling Centre on the Royal Mile fills up with tales, and this year's festival runs from 21 to 31 October on the theme Bird and Beast. You'll hear storytellers from Scotland alongside guests from Türkiye, Italy, Ireland, Canada and England, all exploring the birds and animals of folklore and myth. There are long evening sessions on the legends of St Columba and Ossian. Families get plenty over the school holidays too, including a free family storytelling day at the National Museum of Scotland on 24 October. Tickets are on sale now, and a festival pass brings the price down.
