Kirkcudbright Kite Festival

On Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of September 2025, Gartshore Park in Kirkcudbright will host the Kirkcudbright Kite Festival on the Solway Pitches. From 11 am to 3 pm each day, families can gather to watch giant kites soar overhead, try flying a kite of their own, or take part in kite-making sessions, all at no cost. The event includes children's entertainment, refreshments, and a warm, communal atmosphere. It is hosted by Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities. No tickets are needed.
