Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
For four days this October, Lost Shore fills up with surfboards shaped by hand from wood. The European Wooden Surfboard Meet brings wooden surfcraft makers and enthusiasts from all over Europe and beyond to Scotland's inland surf resort, to meet, try each other's boards and share what they know. Alongside the wood-only sessions on the wave there are workshops, talks, exhibitions and a film screening, so there's plenty to see even if you never get wet. It runs from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October at Lost Shore Surf Resort, South Platt Hill, Newbridge, about 25 minutes from Edinburgh city centre.
