Celtic Connections 2027

Celtic Connections brings a real glow to January in Glasgow. For the best part of three weeks, the Royal Concert Hall, the Barrowland, the Pavilion and a couple of dozen smaller venues fill with music. It's rooted in the Gaelic and Irish traditions and wanders happily far beyond them, from Malian guitarists to Appalachian fiddlers.

The 2027 festival runs from 14 to 31 January. Once the gigs finish, the players head to the late-night Festival Club, and a ticket for that is the one to plan your trip around. Book early for the names you know, then leave a night free to take a chance on someone new.
